I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mad Monkey Hostel in Nacpan El Nido, and I must say, the hostel provided a fantastic experience overall. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the vibrant and exciting nightlife that the hostel had to offer. From lively events and themed parties to engaging social activities, there was never a dull moment at Mad Monkey. The hostel itself boasts a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and fellow travelers, making it easy to meet new people and forge connections. The communal areas were comfortable and well-designed, providing ample space for relaxation and socializing. The on-site bar served delicious drinks at reasonable prices, adding to the lively ambiance of the place. While the night activities were undoubtedly enjoyable, it's worth mentioning that getting to the hostel from the tricycle terminal can be a bit challenging. The lack of pavement and the necessity to walk along the beachfront might pose an inconvenience, especially if you have heavy luggage or are not fond of walking long distances. It would be beneficial for the hostel management to consider improving the pathway to ensure a more comfortable arrival for guests. Once you arrive at the hostel, though, the lively atmosphere and friendly staff make up for any inconvenience during the journey. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a decent place to rest after a night of revelry. Staff and manager Kurt were so sweet and caring. There were so many activities and fun games to choose from: karaoke, beer pong competition, volleyball tournament and other games which I missed because I was chatting myself away to so many cool people I met there! It’s not just visitors that come there, locals too as everyone enjoys the good atmosphere that was carefully crafted by the amazing staff. I will mention that this is a party hot-spot and people who may not know that may get surprised by how wild and funky this place gets! You would never tell that there was a party last night because of how clean and tidy everything looks the next morning. So if you’re missing a good party - Mad Monkey in Nacpan is the place to go to! And don’t worry, people who had very good time there will be the last ones to leave a review due to living a moment and enjoying their time there ✨

without doubt the people. if you’re planning to do a Solo trip in El Nido, Palawan, this is the place to stay. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. they organise activities and island hopping tours during the day while throwing parties at night. they make sure everyone feels comfortable and create an environment where everyone is included. lots of information and recommendations. get to talk to everyone and get the bearings of the islands from people who have experienced before you. facilities are good value for money. rooms are decent and toilets are clean.

The location of the hostel is amazing, there is really good snorkeling if you swim across to the closest island (the current is minimal) it's better than some scuba diving I've done. Don't miss out on night swimming with biolumenecent plankton at the end of party. Overall had a good time
